Our Story
About Pagosa Flood Relief
A community-led response to flooding in Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County, coordinated by Pagosa Springs Friends of the Wild.
Our Mission
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Pagosa Flood Relief was established in response to flooding that affected hundreds of families in Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County. When disaster strikes a small community, the most effective response comes from within that community — people who know the roads, the families, and the landscape.
We coordinate emergency financial assistance, volunteer labor, supply distribution, and long-term recovery support. We do not replace government emergency management — we work alongside it to fill gaps and move faster where bureaucracy cannot.
